William Rattray
(Lowland District) Born 1763 and converted to Catholicism by Bishop Geddes; ordained a priest and returned to Scotland, 1796 (via Corunna and Falmouth); built the first Catholic church in Paisley, 1808, and later worked in Perth and also in Dundee, where he died, 1st/2nd February 1827.
